Dulal woke with a strange unsettled feeling in his stomach. He was sure morning had already arrived and yet... darkness fell outside. Bare feet trod across the carpeted floor of the room at the Inn and towards the balcony beyond.

He looked up, purple eyes gazing up in horror at the blackened sun which cast darkness over all. A gust of wind blew and petals from a nearby tree rolled through the air above him.

Without knowing why tears rolled down his cheeks, somehow he felt that this was the start of something... terrible...
